We absolutely love living in Clongriffin Town. The sense of community, the hustle and bustle of activity and not to mention the fact we’ve got some of the best transport routes in Dublin on our doorstep, it’s hard to imagine living anywhere else.

We know why we couldn’t be happier living in Clongriffin Town, but why should you make it your Hometown?

A Vibrant and Growing Community

Clongriffin Town is a community before it is anything else. It was founded by Gannon Homes on the belief that it should be a home with the intimacy of a village, but the opportunities and modern lifestyle of a town.

In Clongriffin Town we embrace diversity, welcoming everyone regardless of race or religious belief. We recognise that Ireland is a country that peoples from a wide range of backgrounds choose to call home.

Clongriffin Town aims to become a positive example of what a town for a modern Ireland should look like. We want nothing more than to see our community continue to grow as it becomes the place that we know it can be.

We care about our hometown, so we have long-term plans for the support and growth of Clongriffin Town into a thriving community. We’re keeping them under wraps for now, but we want you to know that we’re in this for the long haul.

Portmarnock Beach is only a short journey away.

An Urban Hub

Here in Clongriffin Town, we are incredibly fortunate to be served by some of the best public transport in Dublin. It is only 20 minutes by Dart to get into the city centre, while the number 15 bus takes only 30 minutes (and runs every 12 minutes).

We have 3 Go Car’s located on our Town Square along with a free Park n Ride Car Park, making Clongriffin Town a multi-modal transport hub.

Clongriffin Town is ideal for commuters and young professionals looking for a home with easy access to Dublin and the intimate and calming atmosphere of a village.

Connected with surrounding heritage sites, national monuments and venues, our hometown is a fantastic hub for weekend day trips and much more. For example, the stunning Malahide Castle and Gardens is easily accessible via Dart.

Did we mention that we’re close to the sea? You can even see the coast from some of the top floor apartments. It’s only a short journey to beautiful Portmarnock beach. There are also nearby sailing clubs in Sutton, Howth and Malahide if you’re feeling adventurous.

Looking to get someone something extra special for Christmas, or maybe just looking for a fun day out with the family? Hop on the Dart to Sandymount and visit the Gifted Craft and Design Fair from the 5th - 9th December or make a day of it and go ice-skating too!

If you don’t want to travel, there are always plenty of events going on in Clongriffin Town. Keep an eye on our website for our upcoming Christmas Event happening Sunday 2nd December.

The Father Collins Parkrun takes place every Saturday at 9:30am.

Great Local Amenities and Weekly Events

The Hub and Clongriffin Junction both offer community spaces for social events, classes and clubs. While Father Collins Park is a green oasis in the heart of our town; why not come along watch the swans on the lake, or join in on one of our weekly Parkruns.

If you’ve got fitness on the mind, or are just an avid swimmer, then you’ll be happy to hear that Trinity Sports & Leisure Centre is open until late most days of the week. Similarly, the wonderful team at Body Transformation Studios offer a range of classes to suit any schedule or fitness level.

Other weekly goings-on include Zumba dance fitness classes for the grown-ups or Irish dancing classes for the little ones.

No matter the day of the week, there is always something happening. Every Tuesday evening we’re visited by the North Dublin mobile library (did you know that if they don’t have a certain book you can request it?).

Other than our regular weekly events, there are always special seasonal events going on. Have you seen the pictures from our recent Halloween party? We have something special coming for Christmas that we can’t wait to tell you all about.

Check out the events page on our website to keep up to date with what’s on.

A Place to Raise a Family

With lots of family-friendly events and opportunities, Clongriffin Town is perfect for young families looking to settle down. Father Collins Park offers an easily accessible green space to explore, playing fields, a skate park and two state-of-the-art playgrounds.

The community offers great options for parents with children of any age:

  • Barefoot Babies offers weekly support classes for parents of newborn babies.
  • There are multiple childcare options available, including a Montessori accredited preschool.
  • There are a number of local primary and secondary schools to choose from. This includes a gaelscoil option and schools which specialise in support for children with autism spectrum disorder.

The People of Clongriffin Town

The biggest reason why you should decide to live in Clongriffin Town is that the people are just so great. The people of Clongriffin Town are its lifeblood, and without them, it would never have become the fantastic place to live that it is now.

Events like the weekly Parkrun wouldn’t have become such a great success if it wasn’t for the people who commit to running every Saturday morning, come rain or shine. They really are a great bunch.
